Features:

OPS is mainly used for diagnosis and programming BMW vehicles after E65 series . OPS unit with DIS software is used for diagnosis , which is carried out via OBD-II socket .OPS unit with SSS software is used for programming , which is carried out via OBD-II socket and MOST socket .

The optical programming system (OPS) for programming vehicles is handled in exactly the same way as the OPPS. The connection is effected simultaneously to the OBD II socket and also to the MOST fibre-optic access in the vehicle. The connection to the workshop network is effected via network cable to a free network connection. Like the OPPS, the OPS does not have an air interface, as the high bandwidth required for programming can currently only be achieved by means of a cable connection.
